If you were at all waiting for the release of version 3.5 of Meteor Galleries, no doubt you noticed that it never did appear here. Well, there's a reason for that: I just wasn't ever 100% certain it was good enough. Yes, after spending the past year tweaking small things here and there, it finally is probably OK, but let's face it -- another year has passed, and I'm just beginning to code changes for what I hope will be version 4. Version 4 will include everything I changed in 3.5, but better & more stable. Version 3.5 was a huge departure from the original MG in structure, and as such, some stability issues came up early on, so I shelved the code for public release. I think it is finally ready to make a public apperance in this year's revisions, so stay tuned! An all-new template editor (that if I get my way with the code, will trump all previous template editors to date) is in the works and is the primary change in version 4. V4 will basically be v3.5, but with a truly working WYSIWYG template editing system that will work with existing templates and help you to create new ones.
